Art Background
Design & Printing Policies
My schooling in Art & Design began in 1995. I found some interests at the Alberta College of Art and Design and my enthusiasm for the courses offered expanded from there. Most of my design skills and software knowledge are acquired through self motivation. With the desire and commitment for continual learning, my road ahead will always be a challenging one.
My unique visualization of layout and design extend back to doodling on my homework in grade school. With the optimism of you seeing my portfolio I hope you will discover a refreshing and eager talent.

NOTE ON PRINTING:
Due to the nature of digital printing, colours may range a shade or two from one project to the next and will never be an exact match to your home printer and/or what you see on your monitor. Most people find this variance in colour to be acceptable, however If you are particular about specific colours in your file, we strongly suggest you review a proof first. If you would like to see a printed sample of your file, one proof per project is provided at no charge and typically only adds one extra day to the production process.

Other fun classes that helped me become who I am.....
COMMUNICATION SYMBOLS
An introduction to the various processes of investigating and executing applied design concepts. Concentrating on the the relationship between design problems and creative solutions. This course was an excellent tool in learning perspective and layout technicalities.
DRAWING
Drawing is a vital process that describes what you 'see' representing what you 'know' and express how you 'feel'. This course provided a concentrated experience of representational drawing. It helped develop skills through discussion and constructive critique.
JEWELLERY ELECTIVE
I learned basic skills and techniques required for metalsmithing. Sawing, soldering and sinking were taught to complete assignments each week for constructive critique.
DARKROOM TECHNIQUES
A hands on introduction into developing and printing black and white photography. Techniques of burning, contrast correction, basic spotting and print mounting were applied in this class. A personal favorite!
